Here is my project;

I used patterned papers and washi tape from Prima Marketing's Hello Pastel Collection.  I teamed this up with some sequinella, wooden buttons and pearls from my stash.

Oddball Art Stamps Challenge - You're My Best Friend

Today I'd like to share with you a card i've created for the latest challenge over at the Oddball Art Stamps Challenge Blog.

Our theme this month is 'You're My Best Friend', and you can interpret this however you wish, but we'd love you to share with us you an explanation of your interpretation, if it's not obvious.

Here is my project;
I used the gorgeous Sylvie and Samson image #162B for this creation.  My image is coloured with a mixture of Alcohol Markers, including ProMarkers, Spectrum Noir Illustrators and Marvy Le Plume, with the addition of some white gel pen for highlights.

I teamed this image up with elements from Craftwork Cards Heritage Rose Collection.  As soon as I saw the black and white patterned paper I knew I wanted to colour my wee doggy with the same pattern.  I love how he turned out;

To embellish my card I used some paper flowers, card candi, wooden buttons, and sequinella.  My sentiment came from the same collection as the papers and candi.

Oddball Art Stamps Challenge Reminder - Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Today I'd like to share with you another card i've created for the current challenge over at the Oddball Art Stamps Challenge Blog.

Our theme this month is 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', and you can interpret this however you wish, but we'd love you to share with us you an explanation of your interpretation, if it's not obvious.

Here is my project;
I combined two of the wonderful newly release images for my project, 'Undead Leni' image #367 and 'Immortal Love' image #368

I had great fun colouring this image.  I had a limited palette, as I only had 26 ProMarkers with me, the 2013 Limited Edition Gift Set along with a Blush & Ivory.  I think I got way with it.

Once I was back home, I trimmed my image, and added some details with a Turquoise PITT Pen and a white gel pen.

The rest of my card is very simple.  A sheet of patterned paper from the DCWV Everday Essentials Paper pack, some Orange Glitter Mesh material, leftovers of Turquoise Mirri Card and some Orange Card Stock.  I used a EK Success Border punch on the Orange Card Stock, and punched a Heart from both the Turquoise and Orange Card

Hi Guys, I'm running rather late with this post, as Valentine's Day is pretty much over, but I had to share this project with you.  It features the awesome Undead Leni image#367 on of the new release images available now in the Oddball Art Stamps Store.

I had an awesome time colouring this beauty with my Tria & ProMarkers.  I then trimmed my image down and added it to the cover of this cute little notebook I found.

A very quick project, but so much fun, here's a close up of this beauty;
Isn't she wonderful!

Crafts & Me Guest DT Project - Lucy Loo

Hello All, Today I'd like to share with you my second Guest DT project for the Crafts & Me Facebook Group.

This week's featured image is the gorgeous 'Lucy Loo Delivering Love Letter' by The East Wind, available in Digital and Rubber stamp from the Crafts & Me Store.

Here's my project;
I coloured this gorgeous image with my Tria & ProMarkers, with the addition of a little white gel pen for highlights.

I used Patterned Papers and Cardstock Stickers from one of my favourite Paper Collections of All Time, Echo Park's Be Mine.  I've been hoarding this paper in my stash, and still have a few more sheets to use at a later date.

I layered my Patterned Paper onto a 8 by 8 inch white card blank, then added my cardstock stickers along with some adhesive pink felt hearts.  I layered my image onto to coordinating papers, added a few more stickers and a felt heart before adhering the image to my card with foam pads for a little extra dimension.

That's all from me for now, don't forget to visit the Crafts & Me Facebook Group to see the gorgeous creations from this months other Guest DTs, along with lots of gorgeous projects by group members.

I've coloured this gorgeous image with Letraset Tria & ProMarkers, and Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen.

My background papers are also from Crafts & Me, they come from the Floral Fantasy Digital Paper Pack, which contains 30 beautiful papers, in a very high quality  digital format.  They are 6 x 6 inches in size, but i printed them out at 8 x 8 inches with no loss of image quality.

To embellish my card I added some punchinella, organza ribbon roses, gems in shades of pink and clear, along with a foiled sentiment.

Oddball Art Stamps Challenge Reminder - A Winter's Tale

Today I'd like to share with you another card i've created for the current challenge over at the Oddball Art Stamps Challenge Blog.

Our theme this month is 'A Winter's Tale', and you can interpret this however you wish, but we'd love you to share with us you an explanation of your interpretation, if it's not obvious.

Here is my project;

For my card I used 'Taffy the Clown' image #76B.  I had great fun colouring her in shades of blue, grey and beige using my Letraset Tria and ProMarkers.

So you are probably thinking What does a Blue Clown have to do with A Winter's Tale?

Here goes; This card like my previous one for this challenge is inspired by the song A Winter's Tale sung by David Essex.  I see David Essex as our Clown, looking and feeling blue, but trying to put on a brave face to the world; He's pining for his lost love, trying not to make a fuss as it's the holiday season and everyone else is trying to have fun, and enjoy time with their loved ones.  He's trying to smile and wishes his lost love good things for the future, even though their relationship is over, and he's left feeling sad and alone in Winter.

Hopefully my explanation makes sense.  I do love being able to create a back story for the gorgeous images I get to colour.

Super Cute Card from Oddball Art Stamps

Today I'd like to share with you a very quick tutorial and card featuring one of the latest new release images from Oddball Art Stamps

I couldn't resist using the adorable Hudson image#363, he is such a cutie.  I wanted to try something a little different when colouring his outfit, so I decide to give him a plaid shirt.

I chose 4 different colours of Alcohol Pens , for this project I used Letraset Promarkers and Tria Markers.  I created the pattern using a layer of lines for each colour, here are a couple of pictures of my practice sheet, to give you the idea;
As you can see the pattern builds up really quickly.  Once I was happy with my pattern, I used the same technique to colour Hudson's shirt;
Once I'd got the pattern onto Hudson's shirt, I added some shading using Neutral Grey markers.  I added some more colour to the pattern once I'd coloured the rest of the image, just to make his shirt stand out a little more.  I then added some highlights with white gel pen.

For the rest of my project, I took patterned papers from a coordinate pack and layered them onto a white card blank.  I trimmed my image and stamped the sentiment, before adding some hand doodles borders to all my papers.

I added my image to a patterned paper before adding it to my card with some dimensional foam pads to add a little depth to the card.

For my project I used the gorgeous Foxy Mama image and Social Media Sentiments from KennyK stamps.

I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator Pens to colour my image, with the additon of Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen in Gold for the dress.

My project is a Gift Envelope rather than a card, it's from the DoCrafts Geometric Mocha collection, I also used an envelope from the matching card set for my background, I cut out the square with gold foiled border, and then used some of the leftover patterned paper for the panel behind my sentiment.
